Sajida Muneer (Principal)

Ms Muneer is an experienced educational leader having worked for over 20 years in the education sector across a range of schools.  She started her teaching career as an English teacher and has progressed through a number of leadership roles in both the Pastoral and Curriculum areas. Ms Muneer is dedicated to the education of young people, putting into action her belief that every pupil should have the opportunity to excel academically, and do so in a caring and nurturing environment. 

Shameem Azam (Vice Principal)

Ms Azam is an experienced English teacher, having taught in Bradford schools for 16 years. To date, she has held several Leadership positions culminating in her current position of Vice Principal. She holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from The Open University and had completed the NPQSL. Throughout her career, her passion has been championing pupils to be the best they can be and supporting colleagues to deliver this.

Naveeda Khan (Assistant Principal)

Mrs Khan began her teaching career in Bradford in 2004 and is committed to improving opportunities for the young people of this city. To maximise those opportunities, she has a firm belief in the importance of investing in people and has developed and delivered CPD programmes for ITT, ECT as well as delivered whole school and personalised CPD for experienced teachers. Prior to her current role as Assistant Principal, she lead an outstanding English department and through her additional SLE role worked with other schools in the district and beyond to support and raise standards. Mrs Khan has an optimistic, ambitious, and responsive approach to raising standards in education with relentless high expectations for all. 

 

Snowber Mohsin (Assistant Principal)

Mrs Mohsin is a senior teacher with more than 15 years experience across outstanding schools in Bradford. She has held a number of key leadership positions throughout her career. These include; Head of Vocational Subjects, Careers Lead and BTEC quality nominee for the Edexcel exam board. Mrs Mohsin is committed to improving outcomes for all pupils in order for them to meet their full potential, by providing a highly aspirational environment at Feversham Girls’ Academy.

She has a BSC in Business Information Systems and has successfully completed the NPQSL.

Jacqueline Abbott (Assistant Principal)

Mrs Abbott is an experienced Pastoral leader who began her career in Bradford in 1989 as a PE teacher having loved sport as a child. She has taught in all phases including Primary, Secondary, Special and a short spell recently in FE at Leeds Beckett University.  For seven years she was a Police Officer in Bradford which has complimented her passion for Pastoral and Safeguarding.  Her Pastoral journey started at an Outstanding school in Bradford where she was Head of Year before moving onto senior leadership roles in Bradford and Leeds. She has a real passion for developing young people and has been heavily involved in Sports Leadership programmes as well as setting up Careers provisions in schools. She is fully committed to ensuring all students become the “best that they can be”

She has an Honours degree in PE and SEND and is also an experienced DSL.

Asmah Khan – (Director of Learning – RS and Islamic Ethos)

Mrs Khan is an experienced teacher and leader of Religious Studies and Citizenship who has a strong track record of achieving great results for pupils throughout secondary education. Her passion for Inclusive Education led her to undertake a Master’s in Education, specialising in Inclusive Education. She has worked in both Comprehensive and Islamic schools and she is also an Alimah.

Mrs Khan is passionate about using her knowledge of Islam, her skills and experience as a teacher to empower the students at Feversham Girls’ Academy to engage more effectively with their faith so that it plays a pivotal role in influencing their everyday life as well as inspiring and enabling students to achieve their maximum potential.

Zaynab Mahmood (Director of Learning – Science and Sports)

Mrs Mahmood is an experienced science educator and leader working in Bradford for over 12 years. After completing a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences and an MSc in Computing she embarked on a teaching career-specialising in Biology.  She has a track record of outstanding results and has worked with local and national partnerships on curriculum development in science. 

As Director of Learning for Science and Sports she is passionate about STEM and curriculum development and strives for T&L to be research informed to improve outcomes for children.  Having successfully completed the NPQML she is excited about embarking on the NPQSL this year. Students only get one chance and she feels privileged to be able to help shape the future of students, enabling them to transform their communities.

Halima Bulsari (Director of Learning - Maths)

Mrs Bulsari is an alumna of Feversham Girls’ Academy who began her teaching career over 10 years ago at Dixons City Academy. Here she established herself as an outstanding classroom practitioner with a proven track record on leading students to high academic outcomes as well as leading on the teacher training provision in Maths for the Dixons Academies Trust School Direct program.  Mrs Bulsari holds a first class honours degree in Mathematics and her infectious enthusiasm for teaching Mathematics is visible in her lessons. Since taking her position at Feversham she is utilising her experience and skills to promote both success in the department as well as fostering a genuine affinity for the field of Mathematics.
