Feversham Girls' Academy STEM Club Students Achieve Bronze CREST Awards

4th Oct 2024

Feversham Girls' Academy is delighted to announce that 12 of our STEM Club students have been awarded the prestigious Bronze CREST Award!

CREST is a nationally recognised scheme that celebrates student-led project work in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths), and this achievement showcases the students' dedication and scientific skills.

Each group worked on an exciting hands-on project:

Umme-Amaanah Miah, Hadia Qasim, Ghaaziyah Rizwan and Hawwa Nawaz tested and created the ‘Ultimate Pizza Box’.

Adiba Khan, Zahraa Iqbal and Eshal Rohi worked tirelessly to build and launch their own rocket!

Miss Miah, Teacher of Science at Feversham Girls' Academy, said, "This year, we are aiming for Silver, and the ultimate goal is to go for Gold!"

We are incredibly proud of their creativity, commitment, and the impressive scientific skills they’ve demonstrated. Their Bronze CREST Awards are thoroughly well-deserved!
